Hospitality venue workflow

QR menus for hotel restaurants and room-service touchpoints

Hotel restaurants can use table-specific codes in dining areas and clearly labelled QR entry points in guest areas, while staff receive submitted orders in a single browser dashboard.

Best fit

This workflow is most useful when the venue needs a lightweight ordering layer rather than a full POS replacement.

  • Hotel restaurants with dine-in table service
  • Small guesthouses testing browser-based menu access
  • Hospitality teams that want one menu link across guest touchpoints

Service flow

Keep the process visible and test it from the guest's phone before using it during service.

  • Create clearly named tables or service points for the dining workflow.
  • Place the matching QR code at each approved location.
  • Explain payment and fulfilment expectations on the menu and at checkout.
  • Monitor and route orders from the dashboard using the saved table label.

What it improves

These are direct product capabilities, not promised revenue or labour-saving percentages.

  • Mobile menu without a hotel app
  • Instant price and availability updates
  • Restaurant branding and shareable links
  • Order status tracking after checkout

What to plan around

FastQRMenu is deliberately clear about the functions it does not replace today.

  • FastQRMenu does not provide room-charge or property-management integration
  • No built-in payment processing
  • Room delivery policies and service hours must be managed by the hotel

Plan guidance

Choose the plan from the number of active QR service points. Pro supports up to 30; Business removes the table or QR-code limit.

Keep checking the fit

FAQ

QR menus for hotel restaurants and room-service touchpoints FAQ

What is FastQRMenu?+

FastQRMenu is browser-based menu and ordering software for restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, bakeries, food trucks, and local shops. Table-service businesses can assign a QR code to each table and receive orders in a live dashboard. No-table businesses can publish one storefront link for WhatsApp pickup and delivery.

Does FastQRMenu replace a paper menu?+

It can replace printed menu pages and repeated reprinting when prices or availability change. Table-service businesses still print their QR codes. WhatsApp storefront businesses can share the public link digitally without printing anything.

Do guests need an app or an account?+

No. Customers open a table QR code or shared storefront link, browse in their phone browser, add items, and check out. There is no customer app download or account creation.

How do I set up a business?+

Create an owner account, add the business profile and branding, then choose Table ordering, WhatsApp storefront, or Both. Publish menu categories and items. Table businesses create QR codes; WhatsApp storefronts add their destination number and enable pickup, delivery, or both.

Does every table get a different QR code?+

Yes when table ordering is enabled. Each table has a unique QR token so the order reaches the dashboard with the correct table. WhatsApp storefront businesses do not need to create any tables.

Can guests open the menu without scanning a table QR code?+

Yes. Every business has a public menu link. In table mode, customers can browse first and resolve their table at checkout. In WhatsApp storefront or hybrid mode, the plain public link supports pickup and delivery without table selection.
